Teacher: Kathryn Bircher

Kathryn Bircher has worked with young and developing voices for many years. Kathryn has taught community music classes for children, choreographed dance for college operas, and teaches Musical Theatre at Center Stage Dance.

Since 2016, Kathryn has taught Musical Theatre classes for Center Stage Dance, as well as Tap. Under her instruction, the musical theatre classes there have tripled in size. Drawing on her wide background in performance, students learn acting, singing, and dance over the course of the year, often learning multiple routines/scenes from a number of Broadway shows each year, and performing in the community throughout the year.

Kathryn has choreographed scenes and dances for college opera workshops at Abilene Christian University and Blinn College, as well as for show choirs and theatrical productions in secondary education.

Kathryn has performed on stage in various college opera workshop performances.
